Earlier this summer at the Adventist Frontier Missions training facility, in Berrien Springs, Michigan, all of the outgoing AFM Student and Short-term Missionaries came together for a month of intensive training. We all attended classes for 6 hours a day that covered Discipleship Training and Spiritual Formation, Cultural Issues in Mission, Language and Culture Acquisition, Worldview Unpacked, Spiritual Warfare, Medical Mission, and Inward, Upward Journey. Going into this, I thought that I was well prepared to be a missionary. Once I got there though, I realized how unprepared I really was to be fit for His service. But after much growth, both mental and spiritual, I feel now that He has prepared my faith to walk as His faithful servant. I praise God for leading me to AFM. Above is a picture of all the Student Missionaries that will be in the field with AFM this year. The countries to be reached by this group are: Benin, Guinea, Loas, China, Ireland, Cambodia, and the Philippines. Please pray that the blessings of heaven will attend every member of this group.
